| Lambda Technologies signs metal deal with US Steel |

| It is reported that Lambda Technologies Group, a Fairfax metal engineering company, has licensed its patented process for improving metal durability to US Steel Corporation's tubular products unit. Financial details of the agreement weren't disclosed. Mr Paul Prevey CEO & founder of Lambda said that "The agreement means that we will be able to do more than ever before to help solve material cracking and fatigue issues." The process called low plasticity burnishing has been applied to a variety of alloys including titanium, aluminum, nickel based alloys and steels. Lambda has previously signed agreements with Delta Air Lines, NASA and the US military. |
