| Ansteel output hit by troubled BF |

| It is reported that Ansteel may lose 130,000 tonnes of pig iron production, accounting for 0.8% of its total output, as a result of the shutdown of its No.3 blast furnace due to a coke leakage accident occurred at around 8 PM on August 25th 2008. The furnace is expected to resume normal operation in ten days |
